This beautiful Poncho or “Capita” is made of 100% Mexican Wool. Handmade and hand embroidered by the Zotziles - indigenous Maya people of the central Chiapas highlands in southern Mexico. The Zotziles or Bat People communities live in Chamula, San Cristobal de las Casas and Zinacantan (2 hours flight + 2 hours drive from Mexico City).
